The website has delivered impressive performance metrics since its launch. The revamped digital experience, coupled with search engine optimizations, customizations, and an eCommerce capability, helped the brand evolve in a larger market.

Damon

YES (Yankees Entertainment & Sports) Network content was getting phased off the FOX Sports GO app, but the company wanted to retain existing users, attract new ones, and strengthen their relationship with sports fans. It would require building an impressive experience to bring fans over to their content.

The Emmy award-winning innovation behind the YES app serves up live games on any device and offers real-time polls, facts, stats, and personalized sports content anywhere fans want to experience it.

Using in-depth knowledge of the Fox Sports users and unrivaled expertise in UX/UI, Stellar Elements designers and developers maximized user engagement through customization.

By leveraging push notifications and analyzing viewership trends for feeds and VOD content, YES Network was able to offer personalizations that would engage fans and enrich their experience.

The future is comprehensive customer experiences, and the YES app embodied this. Designed for ten platforms, the app welcomed everyone and helped YES Network develop relationships with fans through dynamic interactions they truly enjoyed.

Woodford Reserve

Damon Motors set their sights on defining and shaping a smarter, safer future for riders. With a lofty goal to achieve zero fatality by 2030, Damon was positioned to transform the motorcycle industry. Upon release of Hypersport, Damon’s first sportbike, the motorcycle market will be electrified. Damon needed a website that matched the magnitude of their vision.

The new site let riders experience the showroom thrill from the comfort of home, generated excitement for the groundbreaking innovations, and connected a community.

In order to tell Damon's new brand story to the world, Stellar Elements conducted stakeholder workshops and honed in on key messages and visual elements needed to build Damon's vision of the future in the present.

A new website introduced a look and spoke in a voice that better captured the spirit of riders old and new. The interactive moments brought dynamic clarity to the innovative technology packed into the electric motorcycle. The virtual showroom brought to life a bike that was not yet in production. And a community was formed around the enthusiastic fans of the design and the technology powering the bikes.

Winning over international markets

Les Mills

Woodford Reserve, a top shelf bourbon brand owned by leading spirits and wine business Brown-Forman Corporation, was struggling to gain international market share. Compared to local options, consumers assumed the bourbon was a low-end spirit. 

The brand needed a website experience that engaged serious whisky drinkers in the story of Woodford Reserve and communicated the exceptional quality of their bourbon.

Stellar Elements reinvented the Woodford Reserve website with storytelling fit for a global audience. 

Combining digital and content strategy with creativity and technical expertise, we created a user experience that communicated the Woodford Reserve brand story at a level worthy of its bourbon. 

We implemented features and functionality throughout the site to create an interactive, relatable, fun, and adventurous experience for visitors. We infused aspiration with temptation to communicate the quality and elevate the perception of the bourbon.

International fitness powerhouse, Les Mills, needed a cohesive digital offering that boosted client acquisition, retention, and referrals. With three disconnected platforms for clubs and instructors, Les Mills knew it needed to consolidate their systems to achieve their goals.

Les Mills Connect enables instructors and clubs to deliver high-quality fitness experiences to members around the world. It’s now easier than ever for instructors to find work, and for clubs to find instructors.

Stellar Elements jumped in with stakeholder interviews to understand the Les Mills user experience from all perspectives. We identified the needs of each type of user and where the experiences they received fell short. We envisioned, designed, and delivered a one-stop digital platform that combined the functionality of their three disparate systems. The dynamic and inclusive experience supports clubs, members, and instructors around the world.

Putting Data to Work

Firefly Health

When a J.D. Power study found that only 32% of small business banking customers felt their needs were understood, banks turned to their data for answers. But most intelligence tools are hard to navigate and often cause more confusion and frustration. To better serve these small business customers, x15ventures turned to create an intuitive business intelligence tool with one-tap access to data needed to make key decisions.

Vonto gives customers one-tap access to the data-driven insights they need to better understand their business and make informed decisions. We continue to evolve and improve the tool to better serve business owners and operators across Australia and New Zealand.

For Vonto, Stellar Elements ditched the number-heavy dashboards used by most intelligence tools and created a sleek, clear daily feed that serves only the most crucial data and insights. In order to populate the feed, our API team was able to create a proprietary data sync engine that updates user data from customer software in near real time.

The engine started with present-day data and then worked its way backwards, meaning that it could generate insights as it was digging through the data. This allowed us to turn around new data improvements and features in a fraction of the time previously needed and with more speed and accuracy. It also allowed us to guarantee that user data would only be shared with authorized third parties.

Apiture Xpress

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for greater access to remote medical services. While telemedicine existed, patient interactions were impersonal and the services lacked complete functionality. Firefly Health came to us to create a platform that delivered personalized user experiences while remaining HIPAA compliant. 

Through partnership with almost the entire Firefly Health team, we deployed an exceptionally personalized and user-friendly virtual clinic offering all the primary functions of an in-person visit. With the new platform, patients feel cared for, secure, and are able to access an entirely new class of primary care.

It was critical to meet two pressing priorities: design a highly-personalized experience and maintain the highest level of security and privacy for patient data. Stellar Elements worked with Firefly Health’s designer-developer and project manager to build the front-end of the mobile application, while the back-end details like API integrations were handled by our developers and HIPAA engineers.

Subaru

Apiture relied on a leading third-parties to host their mobile platform for customers. This arrangement served their customer base well, but the rise in mobile banking was driving banks of all sizes to learn to innovate quickly. To achieve faster growth and prepare for future demands, Apiture needed to develop an in-house answer.

The new Apiture Xpress mobile experience solves directly for client ease-of-use in adaptability and analytics, while also delivering a best-in-class experience for every mobile banking user. The platform empowers their clients with faster delivery of new features and more reliable mobile solutions.

To best understand the market, Stellar Elements performed a comparative analysis of features among peer competitors in the mobile banking space. This analysis looked at leading digital providers across both retail and commercial banking.

Together with the Apiture team, we identified opportunities to strengthen baseline and niche feature sets to enhance value to the user and to differentiate from the competition.

Fueling the expansion of a top automotive brand in Asia.

Port of Auckland

It may be one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the world, but Subaru in Southeast Asia was not on most consumers’ radar.

Motor Image Group, the exclusive Subaru distributor in the region came to us with a task: Relaunch the Subaru brand in ten countries and sell more cars. As the company’s brand experience agency of record, we spent five years doing just that.

Our research found that throughout Asia definitions of success are changing and car choice plays heavily into self-image and status. However, car advertisements in Asia were boring, one dimensional, and single mindedly focused on price, failing to appeal to driver aspirations and individuality. 

From broadcast TV advertising to dealer signage to print ads, we elevated the storytelling of the brand and fleet of vehicles to greater prominence, distinction, and sales success across Southeast Asia.

Marine pilots play a vital role in the safe and efficient arrival of a ship, crew, and cargo. For successful berthing, pilots and ship masters must exchange information continuously. The Port of Auckland came to us to design software that gives masters and pilots a digital toolkit to enhance the seamless exchange and management of plans.

We designed eMPX, software that improves efficiency and advances the master-pilot exchange process for a global market. With the ability to set up and configure for individual ports, eMPX can be adjusted to work in any port in the world.

Enabling safer passage for ships and crews worldwide.

The AAA Innovations team came to us with a challenge: Reach more people and deliver on their promise of safety on the road and away from home. They had created Identity Champion, an identity theft detection tool, and they needed to get the word out.

We created a simple, powerful concept with “The Ring,” a bold graphic accent that visually communicates a sense of security and strong brand recognition. Our team of designers and writers created cross-platform ads, as well as a copy and design playbook, giving AAA the tools to create on-message assets going forward.

Our research found that competitors in the identity protection industry use scare tactics to prey on anxieties. AAA wanted to stay true to their brand’s reassuring voice. We set out to create a campaign that communicates a sense of protection that’s always on and always with you.

Bringing safety to new markets.

Helping US Navy fighter pilots complete mission-critical ops.

Despite advances in technology, military fighter pilots are frequently outfitted with a traditional kneepad, paper documents containing critical information strapped to the thigh. Quick access to flight plans and weather data can make or break a mission, so he U.S. Navy came to us to design a digital alternative to the outdated kneepad.

We conducted in-cockpit research into how the kneepad is used by pilots, examining every aspect from ergonomics to the challenges faced by digitizing documents that need to be fail-proof in all possible conditions.
